Yes have a .bsa, in total in the extracted

If those are the right size then maybe its just to fast for me to see it accessing 002 or 003

 

I'm using winrar but it usually handles zip's fine

Can we get some kind of..  I don't know, teaser? Audio-line for what is to be expected?
I usually take a look into mods with voice to check if i like em, before downloading them.

I'm at 255 plugs with a lot of merged plugs already so it's a decision to be made everytime i want something new.

With the amount of work that goes into these and the price you pay for them,

I'm thinking I might go with "No"?

Like I said at least once previously, it extracted all three.

I have extracted the contents of your BSA, and I'm trying to convert the esp from Form 44 to Form 43, to see if this works... what do you think?

It is already an espfe - so it's not going to affect your 255 esp/esm limit.

LE doesn't require the plugin (at least with Mod Organizer)

It requires the BSA format to be different, and in MO's Archive tab put a checkmark in the Archives name.

Without MO, use the files loose.

 

The sound files themselves will work as is, no change between LE/SE

yee. I even tried extracting the bsa files. any idea why they don't show up?

I honestly don't know.

Most are getting sound, the rest aren't.

 

No common denominator at present.

Can you use any of my other packs?

Followed the instructions and it worked perfectly - except - in a player house with 5 followers - sex with first, voices working perfectly. Sex with second etc and the first one was the one continuing with the dirty talk ie once triggered, the effect stayed with that npc, and didn't move to the next. Using free cam I went across the house to her and there she was, talking away as if she was the one having sex at the time.

Late here so will see what happens with a reload tomorrow.

It actually does explain things.

 

This voice pack does nothing other than have voice files in the proper folders.

Any assignment of speech to PC/NPC will be done by the mod.

And can be conflicted by other mods.

 

No idea how to troubleshoot this at this point.

Hay, sorry to ask this but since the auther isn't going to support this anymore. How did you get it to work. I extract the 3 files, re-compress them and it won't work. MO2 also says the master is missing a file. Though the text shows up fine no worries.

First install this LE mod 

run it through CK to make it form 44 if you want - this is the SexLabDirtyTalk.esp needed as master for SexLabDirtyTalk_Voice.esp (this mod)

 

Then download the three DLs here. Put them into a directory by themselves. I have a directory called File Handling in my MO2 directory and I simply made yet another directory inside it called SLDT, and put them there.

 

Using 7zip I right clicked on SexLabDirtyTalk1-0-0_Voice.7z.001 and selected extract files - do not touch the other two files. A new directory is created "SexLabDirtyTalk1-0-0_Voice"

In that directory is yet another directory with three files. Right click the final directory created (the one with the three files) and select archive with 7zip. Name it SLDTVoice or whatever you like.

 

Install that as you would any other mod. Make sure it is after SexLabDirtyTalk.esp in your load order.

Been thinking about it - as the original is a text only mod, the problem would not really show up - as who knows where the text is coming from? With voice I was able to use free camera and id the speaking actor. Pretty amusing really lol. With text it's just text, no volume or direction, accent etc. 

Edit - loading a save the same actor npc is still tagged for the voice. Too bad she has the female commander voice type. Looked at the original mod and the quest that picks up the voice actor doesn't have anything to drop them at the end of the scene - in fact it only has a step to start the quest defined, the next two stages are blank, so the voice actor will stay active. Good if someone who knows what they are doing could add a step that does that.

 

Edit 2 - ok - I got far enough away from that actor, but in the same cell not to hear her - so it reverted to text - and named her in the text message so you knew who it was.

Went to a different cell and just didn't work - for all I know she was still reacting in the original cell, I just couldn't hear her. Looks like a dead end if we can't find someone who knows how to break the link to the actor at the end of each scene. I tried adding a flag to the last quest stage "Quest completed" but it had no effect, not did using setstage console command to advance it to that stage.

what happens if you touch the other 2 mods?

perhaps a better question is why would you? The original installation instructions were basically a shorter version of what I listed, and they did not indicate anything about touching those files, Extracting 001 does the job, somehow incorporating the contents of 002 and 003 (beyond me) into the extracted files. I gather the only reason it was put in three files was to get within some file size upload limit.

Hmm, unless I've done the conversion incorrectly. I now Have an esp file and though still the same issue with text but no sound

. Then if I am to only extract 001. It says missing data. It's strange, but oh well.

Please read the first post.

The mod "SexLab Dirty Talk" deals with dialog in a very strange fashion.

It was never designed with voice in mind.

It assigns dialog text to random actors in the current cell,

and never releases it.

 

I failed as a developer with this one by not examining the internals before creating the voice packs.

I tested this by installing, engaging in sex, and considered it a success when I heard spoken dialogue.

Under further review, I should have tested further.

 

The only reason I'm leaving the downloads up is in the off-chance someone repairs the MOD.

 

In short, while the voice files are functional, the MOD is fundamentally not suited to them, and doesn't handle them in a way normal mods do.

It'll not work til someone fixes the mod to include the two-thirds of the dialog mechanism that is missing.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried to rename each fuz file to match the file output names since there different but they don't seem to show up in creation kit.

Okay I also tried renaming a few fuz files and finally got the audio to play (it was really easy to mess up). The main problem is that there is about 20000 of them... The audio file names do not match the IDs in the original esp or at least the one that is available now for download.

Hello funkbottom, thanks for the notice I'll try this. In case I'm unsuccessful, can you share the recompacted esp? I'm on LE please.
