for me it works normally, I had problems because I didn't understand how to do the installation but now it's working. Check if you really installed it correctly. or check mod updates.

no idea, however the mod is working completely fine for me. Though the last update given by the owner was like a year ago. Dunno what happened to him, hopefully someone can provide some info on the mod, is it abandoned? or just in dev for like a year straight.

I would be interested to know if this could work with custom characters or only with official ones. Does it allow you to configure the body as well as body color and such like it does with your chosen bits or does it choose from premade sprites fit to each official character. I usually used to play a feminine blue fox with a custom hammer, been a while since I played ds and dst.

Last time I played I did so with the Kiryu coco mod, so yeah it does work with custom, you select your genitals, no idea about color.

I wonder how feasible it would be to convert this to a Don't Starve mod, given Don't Starve isn't likely to update and break it at this point.

I gave my own attempt at converting it following a tutorial but it didn't seem to work (this isn't surprising, as I have no idea what I'm doing).

I'm sure someone who has literally any experience with Don't Starve mods or DST->DS conversions could give it a better chance
