His Patreon is under scrutiny and I don’t think you can donate any further. His last update for the mod was in 2022. He mentions that he is going back to school and people are free to edit and play around with the code of the mod. He will no longer be working on that mod and made it open source on his Patreon. It was nearly 3 years since he updated the mod. Thus, if we don’t have someone to step in and pick up the coding and updating, the mod is essentially dead.

Make sure that you have spawning of shadow puddles enabled. If so, during night time, shadow puddles will spawn around played in the dark, and if you step to them, shadow hands appears to rape your character. Alternative solution is to craft "shadow goop", you can use to summon friendly shadow hands.

is this still working? because the patreon says the page is not avaible. 
and when i put the mod on the mods files it just makes nothing happen (and yes, i added it to the world, it just sayed it probably wasnt compatible)

Its part of the Leisure mod. And not separated mod. One that you can find in steam workshop, is just stolen assets from Leisure mod, and not an "OG" like you think it is.
