agent86 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I know that there is a fix for this problem but I simply cant figure it out, there are to my knowledge a couple mods that fix this but so far I cant get any of them to work and im certain that im doing it wrong. these are the female body mods that I currently have installed http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6709/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4888/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32986/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35035/? and in the case of Aela and Jenassa I have these 2 face mods http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16000/? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9425/? as you have probably guessed im aiming for a more realistic female body but that neck seem wont go away. as far as aela and jenassa I don't think there is a way to fix that neck seem and still keep the other mods, but for the rest of the female character this is what I end up with now I truly do not want to part with the mods that I have installed as at the moment it looks great, is it possible to fix that?
Dallas-Arbiter Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Did you get and use the texture blender for the mature skin? It's down a bit on the mature skin's description.
agent86 Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 I actually tried that exact program? mod? not sure what to call it but I did try it before twice and I just couldn't get it to work, I followed the directions provided and there is even a file you can download in the files list of that page that's specifically for the mature skin but for some reason I cannot get it to work. do you think this could fix that problem? should I just continue to fiddle with it until it works?
PsychoMachina Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 For neck seams give this a try. It's something I put together and works with different texture sets. Example: Mature Skin Multi-Texture Neck Seam Patch Neck Seam Patch.7z As for the neck gaps, changing either their weight in CK or swapping head or body meshes tend to remove the gaps.
Dagimpyman Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Could you elaborate on how to eliminate the mesh-based neck gap? I've tried adjusting the weights in blender before, but that didn't work. I'm not aware of how to change weights in the CK.
agent86 Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 im afraid that adjusting the weight doesn't seem to help much, Lydia is set to 100 and aela is set to I think about 50 maybe 40, but that still doesn't get rid of the gap. iv got that same problem and even when I adjusted it no difference. psycho im sorry to say but I gave your mod a shot and no difference, exactly the same, but I appreciate the effort there. can the texture blender fix that issue or is it just something that ill have to over look do you think?
PsychoMachina Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 @Agent86 I see now, you're only having problems with neck gaps and not neck seams. That would explain why my patch did not work. What body mod are you using in your pics of Lydia and, I guess, your character? UNP? CHSBHC? @Dagimpyman To change your character's weight in CK, locate his/her race located under CHARACTER > RACE, double-click on the race from the listing on the right window, and follow this screenshot. To change an NPC's weight, go to ACTORS > Actor > actor and click on the NPC's race, in the listing at the right-side window, double-click the NPC and follow this screenshot. As agent86 found out, sometimes other factors cause neck gaps like body meshes or armors that don't perfectly fit.
Pinute Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 oh, those neck gaps. I had one that was just a few sparkly lights that drove me crazy. I fought and fought and fought, then gave up and used a SED7 necklace witrh custom textures to hide it. A couple days later I made a new bodyslide cuz I needed a change. Gap disappeared. Bodyslide is such a blessing but is also fraught with pitfalls.
agent86 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 actually its both, the neck seem and gap are both very visible. I don't know for certain but are you able to see those pics I posted? theyre working on my end but maybe I posted them wrong im not certain. im actually running 4 body mods at the moment, UNP, CHSBHC, the Mature Skin Texture, and Realistic Breast Physics in that load order. so far the neck seem and gapping problem is the only issue with it. im also using the Mature skin texture for the face as well. EDIT: oh and just for clarity sake the 3rd picture is a follower mod from the nexus called Annael.
PsychoMachina Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 The pics are fine, I can see them. First thing first and tackle the neck gap and once that is fixed move on to the neck seam. So you have both UNP and CHSBHC installed. Who is using the UNP and who is using CHSBHC? I'm wondering if one is somehow affecting the other.
agent86 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 im sorry im a little confused, what do you mean by who is using unp and chsbhc? If you're referring to if there are any requirements on the other mods, so far as I know the natural breast animation mod (sorry got the name mixed up there before) requires chsbhc in order to work.
sylumcase Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Im no expert but i had a similar problem, did you install CHSBHC after you installed UNP? If you did try re-copying the UNP mesh's back over the ones changed by CHSBHC and it might fix the neck gap. As for the seam, i dunno i have them but they're very subtle and you have to actually look for them so i let it slide.
PsychoMachina Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 @Agent86 I checked out Natural Breast Animation at the Nexus and, correct me if I'm wrong, nowhere in the description page does it say the animations require CHSBHC. The only thing it does require is a BBP body such as CHSBHC. Since you are using UNP, did you install a BBP body made specifically for UNP such as Calyps' Blessed Body.
agent86 Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 no sir, I did in fact install CHSBHC on top of UNP. I just remembered this morning in fact that there was another mod that i used to make the breasts the normal UNP size which is this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10470/? sorry about that one, because its a manual download i forgot all about it. i don't particularly like the oversized breasts of both CHSBHC or UNP Blessed Body, i thought that the standard UNP with the Mature skin was perfectly fine just needed breast physics. now with that said i thought that the only way to achieve that was for me to download CHSBHC and then over write it with this UNP Bouncing Boobs mod and then install the mature texture over that as i did try it with the UNPB mod but it really didn't look right to me. this really was the only way i could achieve what i was aiming for. is there another way?
