Sexlab animations loop & repeat

I have a weird issue in SE where the vanilla Sexlab animations will start, but then keep restarting. The opening frame(s) will loop a number of times before the animation plays out in full.

I've searched around for an answer without luck. All other animations work perfectly.

Might anyone know how I can cure this?

 

I use Nemesis only for my game, no creature stuff.  Thanks!

(FWIW, I use FNIS) and experience similar repeats on a few animations. "fast forward" using the 'advance animation' hotkey is the best I can offer. There seem to be a few specific animations that suffer from this, at least for me, and usually, if you just sit there and let it happen, eventually it seems to lock in. One I can identify off-hand is Leito Kissing, where it hangs on both stages one and two. Glitchy as it seems, For a long time, I've presumed (or I at least try to presume) it was done intentionally to suggest passion or eagerness or something.

 

Ironic though, since what literally got me interested in installing SLAL and animation packs was improved kissing options when I was still a naive, wide-eyed, bushy-tailed, innocent Skyrim player.  ;)

 

sorry I only have a weak-assed workaround and a lame anecdote to offer.

Well, truth is, I have  encountered a couple sequences recently that acted *really* odd, where advancing the stage **manually would repeat two or even three steps in a cyclic loop (one advance at a time... advance to b, advance to c, advance to a, advance to b...) and the only way to end it was by hitting the "end animation" hotkey, so it would be nice to know wtf is going on... It seems like some "features" are in code but never ?rarely? really discussed even in mod descriptions

 

** (monitoring arousal with widgets and the SLSO enjoyment in-animation "enhanced enjoyment" trigger key... widget flashes red when some super-secret coded ideal moment for step change happens for a given participant. That is, I get the concept used, and experientially I understand what's going on, but I have no idea what the specific "rules" used are in code for the determinations

 

So, if you ever happen to run into one of these cyclic loop weirdnesses (possibly with SL Defeat involved, idk, but it's where I experienced them. I went as many as ~40 cyclic loops before I gave up, mainly 2-step, but a couple of 3-step cyclic loops too, and not one that started doing that ever recovered on its own) ,  "end animation" seems the only option

Thanks for the tip.

 

I've never experienced that level of weirdness. It's usually just the starting frames on things like (I think) Leito's bottle masturbation (I recall that animation being a problem) and a few others.
