Problems with Eyeballs and Iris (too dark)

I am using:

- VX

- Hook 5

- Universal Skin System

 

I got issues:

- The eyeballs (and the iris) stay pretty dark regardless of where I put the brightness slider. It works but only goes from black to light grey.

- How do I get the eyeballs really white and the eyes shiny and beautiful as in 7.5? I used the TK4R repack back then and the eyes where beautiful.
