Jurassic Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 Like the title says, recently I created a new profile with MO2, enabled the usual mods I do, and now I'm get this weird shadow brush effect on my body, I looked up "Shadow striping" and "Bronze skin" bugs but they don't look anything like this, problem persists with and without ENB. Currently I'm using CBBE, Fair Skin Complexion and 3BBA. I use Facelight and Better Facelight but for the screenshots turned it off. (It has nothing to do with the weird shadow brush effect)
agiz19 Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 In ENB "detailed shadows" are the cause , I have this or similar issue sometimes but only indoors under some certain angles, I havent found a solution yet, but you said this also happens without ENB - I read somewhere quite some time ago maybe it was on ENB forum - if this happens without ENB it should be skyrim ini settings specifically shadow parameters or a lighting mod causing this.

I use BethINI and went in and disabled Ambient Occlusion in BethINI, disabled SSAO and AO in skyrim launcher and Precipitation as well, still have the effect. It's playable but it really does irritate me, I'll try to find some more info on it in the meantime.

Btw: The reason why there is "espesp" is because I copy pasted from modwatch and didn't notice I was copying the tag as well.
Jurassic Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Yeah I don't know what exactly was causing it and it's a shame I couldn't figure out, I built a new mod list earlier because my main modlist got broken, the new list works fine and you could consider this solved, though I still have no idea what was causing those blotchy brush-like shadows and it still irritates me to no end.
Jurassic Posted June 4, 2021 Author Posted June 4, 2021 To anyone else who ever has the same problem: was finally solved, its caused by TextureSlide CBBE, don't know why exactly and its unfortunate because I use the Naught to 60 BodySlide preset with it.
