I've been looking for so long on how to get this mod and I've finally found a thread for it. I think I have it installed correctly? It's showing up so I guess it's only a matter of time before things break. Huge thanks for putting together the combined file.

 

Update: Some of the screenshots look like they have physics. Maybe they don't, but does anyone know if they do and it can be put in? My hair doesn't have physics.

 

I figured it out, everything's working but it doesn't seem compatible with BHUNP genitals as it's using its own standalone body that's missing the textures, and the file structure seems really different than whatever BHUNP is doing. Anyone know how to fix this?

After trial and error I managed to get the race to work, but it sticks to the child-like race "Elin" when I want the Adult Size body / character like shown in the images here + Yandere. 
I assumed it was an issue with BodySlide cuz I'm a amateur with it & new to BHUNP (always used CBBE). Tried many different BodySlide files of older bodies for the race, but they all give the Child appearance. 

In the end I forced her height in Racemenu to 1.37 which made her Adult side, but I'm not sure if that's how you should do it. 

 

Does anyone know how to get adult size body, or do you really need to force it through Racemenu option?

Use the tool "SSEedit" to open '0710test.esp'. 

Go to the "Race" sub folder, select any of the race preset that you want to change.

Once selected, on the right you will see an entry called "Female Height". 

Change the value "0.75000" to "1.00000".  

 

You can replace the body type to CBBE by replacing the files under the folder "meshes\leafelin" and "textures\leafelin".

I still can't figure it out, I tried switching over to CBBE COCO from BHUNP and I still can't figure out how to fix the vagina texture. I'm stumped. I can't even find the mesh files for COCO for some reason.

 

Never mind I'm dumb because COCO's meshes are made through Bodyslide. I've successfully replaced the body for YanElin. Privates are still discoloured though.

 

I checked the texture file in TexBlend, but the privates are still white despite all the textures being present and replacing the mesh with the COCO mesh generated by Bodyslide. I don't know what I'm missing.

 

Aaaaaand I learned how to texblend. Solved.

1st, im really glad that many ppl love the preset, didnt expect she is popular like this.

and im sry that i just leave late comment.

Yander elin preset is based on some elin race mod not popular (not Elin Remastered and Tera elin2)
This means that the preset didnt put purpose for publishing or sharing, but just for my happiness.

 

Welp anyway, ppl asked for her a lot so I started to publish, cause Im so cool.

But you guys already know : Guides, Configurations, Installation, everything is totally in a mess.

 

The point is, shes not perfect yet, uncomfortable to use, low compatibility with some mods due to minor-custom race.
And for some reasons, I dont want to promote the race mod she based so I would have stopped update if you didnt love her.

 

But I got so many messages in Twitter about her. I can feel they love so much.
I've changed my mind so at least will make easier to install by using fomod and prepare some fixes.

It will be slow, but I'll do my best.

even with all post detailing the proccess (and headaches im sure you guys had) its really confusing, would either the post author @ghostering or @vex714 mind do a step by step?

My game have crashed twice now and when i THINK i got it right, i got this weird face that looked like it was made of Oil (like it was melting)
tried to take a screenshot but the game crashed while doing it.

Sadly is as you say, all anime face races for skyrim are really hard to install. Its a mess just to find the correct version no to mention add-ons for that one race.


Im specially trying to get Tera Elin 2 (from Acro748) to work, but im having so much issues with it.

Just for her preset. I cant give the race mod directly, but you will find out the hint or URL during fomod installation.

 

Most of anime custom races dont follow the standards of popular race mods.

The more to make be looked better anime style face, the more stuffs need to be customized and added.

And they definitely pull the mod out of standards. That makes difficult.

 

Acro's Elin race is relatively standardized compared to other custom race mods, but hard to install yet. thats why ppl say that custom race mod is inefficient.
I just hope you wont get dissappointed if the next version is under your expection.

 

I still support ENG guide for 3.2 ver, if you failed to install, leave DM on twitter.

Old version supports LE too but im afraid you will be disappointed to crude quality.

after miltiple times of trying i'm bored, if you can make a some kind of guide how to make them playable, i'll be real happy.

[The bug also appeared after the first NPC respawn via AreYouThere, but it disappeared on the next attempt after restarting.]

It's also more of a suggestion, but you can also try back-porting based on this tutorial by Harwald...

If that doesn't work either, you can check a potential back-port of older version of TeraElinRace Remastered from this package.

And when I finally found what looks like race mod of my dreams, Leafne Elin dev's Mega account gets nuked, and twitter gets nuked altogether. Groovy. >_> Does anybody still have that mod by any chance? Will use Tera Elin meanwhile.

Although, maybe I don't actually need Leafne...

EDIT: Yep. I do not. Now to figure out how to switch her naked body to CBBE, because bodyslide just doesn't register on it as is...

EDIT2: Facial animation doesn't work on preset, though. There isn't even any relevant sliders. Preset also doesn't work on vampire race option - all i get is a blockhead with positibe integer overflow of empty hair options.
