WW makes game stop responding?

Recommended Posts

I've been using WW for a while and have never had a problem, but following the most recent update, it makes my game stop responding. Everything will be running fine until I enter a loading screen, at which point to game stops responding and I have to force quit. I know this is related to WW because I have tried removing all of my other CC/mods but the problem persists and the game works without WW installed. Has anyone else experienced this/is there a fix??

I have the current version of the game (1.73.57) as well as the most current version of WW.

Are all of your mods updated?

The current version of Wicked Whims works fine with the latest game update. You have something else going on that might be coincidental to updating WW and the game.

Have you deleted your localthumbcache.package file in your Sims 4 folder?

All of my mods are up-to-date and my localthumbcache.package file is still there. The issue only seems to occur when I have Wicked Whims and I've tried everything that I know of that may be causing the issue.

Thanks for the input, I'll keep trying! May try to delete the game and redownload it entirely incase it is something wrong with that!

Delete your localthumbcache again and try a Game repair next...

That's not necessary. Repairing the game through the launcher is enough to take care of any possible corrupted files.
