I have a bug with wicked whims that I have never seen, help me

Hello, I have been using wicked whims for a while but recently I have a bug with men regarding clothing, when a man's shoes are taken off all the texture is removed and the sims is only one color, below pictures allowing you to understand what i mean, does anyone know how to fix that?

I'll assume you have the latest game update of 1.72.** and Wicked v163h.

 

This is not likely a Wicked Whims issue causing it but probably another mod or cc conflict.

 

Remove all mods/cc except Wicked + Animations

MCCC is OK to leave installed if you have it and it's the latest version v8.1.0.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder

Test game but don't make any new saves just exit

 

If it's now working you have to find the mod/cc causing trouble.

Might be cc shoes or custom skins/skin tones.

 

By adding mods or cc back into game a few at a time and re-testing until the problem comes back you can find the problem mod/cc.

As Scorpio mentioned, this isn't a Wicked Whims issue. It's your CC.

Game updates can break various stuff including some custom content.

 

Is the clothing pictured a full outfit or shirt and pants?

If it's a full outfit, then I'd wager that's your trouble CC.

If they are separate, then it's one or the other.

 

Is it for all clothing or just this one outfit?

If it's just this one, then I'd wager that's your trouble CC.

It becomes like the picture as soon as I take off the shoes no matter what clothes the man is wearing. The problem is, I don't feel like removing all my cc, it's really annoying

Are the shoes CC?

At this point you have to ask yourself the question: what's more important? Being annoyed that you have to go through your CC or being annoyed that something in your game is broken?

There are some pretty nice people on this forum willing to help but you need to be willing to help yourself as well.

It won't fix itself, and I can't see what cc you have, but why not try just removing shoes first.

 

You have all your cc shoes in one folder named Shoes right?

Simple to move one folder to desktop for testing.

All your cc should be each in it's own folder category for easier updates and finding problems.

Also helps prevent having duplicate copies of cc and mods.
