Jade Khayos Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I'm not a rich man, but I scraped together the money to buy a genuine copy of the Sims4 Deluxe edition direct from origin, and a few expansion packs that I liked... And no-matter what I've tried, from adding a mods folder manually, to turning-off-and-on the game in twenty different configurations; this file, right here, will not manifest itself, and thus the Wicked whims mod can-not function. I'm using a HP pavilion gaming desktop with a strong Nvidia graphics card and 32 gigs of ram, and, at this point; well, the title of the post says it all.
Husk Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 Remove your Mods folder from Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 completely and boot up the game again. The game should create the folder and the Resource.cfg file.
Jade Khayos Posted April 18, 2021 Author Posted April 18, 2021 Thank you. One more question: the game has to be saved into Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4, correct? (Because it didn't save to that location on it's own...)

This is your users work folder for Saves, Screenshots, Tray, Configs, Mods, etc. Your game install folder is C:/Program Files(X86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4 Strictly for the games use only and lists all your packs installed.
