How to fix unknown text

Sometimes, it happens to find indecipherable things, which makes it impossible to know what it is

Here we are helped by TES5Edit, a good translator and also the folder of the offending mod

 

The first thing to do is to start TES5Edit

 

In the Plugins menu, right click and select NONE , then activate only the Plugin that interests us , wait for the data to load

Since in this case, it is an armor that is anonymous, extend the mod menu, extend the Armor menu . As you can see, nif's result in an unknown and / or untranslatable language from Skyrim, which is the cause of the text problem

For renaming, we can stick to the ID, or, open Skyrim Data \ Meshes \ name armor, and display the name of the nif . proceed with the steps until all parts are completed. Since Skyrim will read the identification IDs, changing the name, automatically, will also change everything related to the renamed object
