What are your favourite mod recommendations?

I'm finally joining the Sims 4 community! Since I've only played the game for a few hours and I'm completely new to the mods, what are all of your recommendations? I'm looking at the two newcomers' guides pinned to this thread but it seems a little bare bones and I'm eager go to all in so please give me all your suggestions, whether for the basics, specific stuff you like or the kinky kind!

Well I'd take it slow at first till you get the hang of installing and using mods.

 

Wicked Whims of course would be first choice plus Animations.

Make a new folder for all your animations named Wicked Animations

 

Wild Guy's Female Body Details for extra bits to add in CAS like Pubic Hair and Nipple size and blush to make them pinkish.

Best to use the folder recommended, FBD as it needs to load before Wicked.

 

Simdulgence Real Gens Penis to choose different sizes.

Have to use in game WW body selector to pick them.

Click on Sim, select Wicked > Body Selector

 

CC makeup, hairstyles, eyelashes, and clothing found at various sites on the net.

Make separate folders to install these by category so you don't get duplicates when you add more later.

 

Non Default Skin Overlays like RemusSirion RS-12-F to make the females look better.

There are tons of them for both males and females and are also added in CAS when you edit your sims.

 

MCCC is handy utility mod to control many things in game and helps with editing sims in CAS or adding/removing traits, etc.

 

Basemental Drugs for real drink names, getting drunk, smoking, drugs, etc., (everything is pretty much optional to use or not)

 

Probably enough to get started and try things out.
