Mouse buttons and wheel suddenly stopped working?

Hi everyone,

 

I have an issue where my mouse buttons and my mouse wheel stopped working in Skyrim SE. I can still use the M1-button in dialogue, but in menus or in combat, it doesnt work anymore. M2 doesnt work in combat either. I also cant change my zoom with my mouse wheel anymore. I think it broke during some dialogue scene or during a SexLab scene because in one combat scenario it still worked, and after going to town speaking to a couple NPCs and having some SexLab action, I realised in the next comabt sequence it was broken. This stuff carries over to my other characters too. I can put the right hand and left hand functions to buttons on my keyboard and still technically play, but its a pain in the ass...

The sysmptoms, overall, are like those you can usually solve by using a crafting station. Unfortunately, that doesn't (afaik) cover a fundamental inability to use the mouse buttons, so I'm not sure if that would suffice (if you can actually enter a crafting station) , and  even if you can, I'm not sure it will fix mouse buttons issues (although it usually clears the zoom and pan issues)

 

I have one more but you're probably not going to like it. (because it usually entails losing progress)

 

Open a savefile made prior to the first occurrence of this bug/glitch/whatever.

 

If one can't be found, then you likely have a mod conflict of some sort introduced by a recent installation. The general solution there is to uninstall one by one, in reverse order of installation, until you can find a save that will load.

 

If you can find one, well, I've found that sometimes a glitch encountered during play, then saved, will persist no matter what one does to try to fix it. You may lose a little progress in stepping back a few saves, but backtracking a bit is (IME) often the most "efficient" answer. (especially if caught early!)

for me first verify check if your mouse is working good outside skyrim . ( hardware issue)

than you restart skyrim and see if your mouse works again as usual . ( software settings )

at last you try to reproduce the issue . ( mod script issue )
