Use WickedWhims in only certain save files; disable in others?

HI, I'm new to Wicked Whims.

 

I want to use WW in some of my game save files, but not in others.

 

Today I went into a game save file where I do not want any of the Wicked Whims features to be enabled. I chose Wicked > Settings > Settings Control > Disable Settings > OK.

 

Then I saved my game, exited the game, exited Origin, restarted Origin, opened the game, and opened this save.

 

The problem is -- there are some behaviors in this save file which aren't reverting back to vanilla TS4.

 

For example, when a female sim breastfeeds her baby, she's fully clothed, but there is no pixelation. When a child sim goes into the bathtub, they are pixelated, but the badge in the lower left-hand corer of the screen shows them without a shirt, instead of in their outfit that they will wear after the bath (none of their outfits are shirtless).

 

Can I get some guidance -- is there a different way to use Wicked Whims in only certain game saves, but not others? I would appreciate being directed to any posts or FAQs that address this.

Save the settings for ww then import them into your other saves.....

Thanks for the response, but I am asking about completely disabling Wicked Whims in certain saves, while using it in others. I do understand how to import settings into the game saves where I want to play with Wicked Whims, but I still don't understand how to completely disable it in other saves.

what you want to do, if I understand correctly, is to disable everything that WW provides for one savegame, but not for another?!

 

Like, if you share the PC and the game with a child? - so you have your savegame with WW and for your child you want to completely disable everything, so that the game is "un-modded" (at least concerning WW) ?!

you mean like that?

 

I think this is not possible...

if you want it like that, you probably need to remove WW from the mod folder before loading into the game... at least afaik

Hi yes -- there are no children in my household, but you are correct -- I want to disable everything WW provides for one savegame, but not another.

 

Thank you for the suggestion of removing WW from the Mods folder when I want to play an unmodded save, I will try that.

 

Would love any other suggestions if there is a better way!
