ragingdragonstuff Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 Is there a way I could select an animation from a menu? I remember doing it in Oldrim but i dont remember what it was that let me do it. Using SE and quite a few sexlab mods
anjenthedog Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 If you install Defeat, it includes a hotkey (0 by default, but can be set to a different one) that allows a direct animation selection popup for *most SL-related stuff while "in-animation" (each menu is, however, limited by the initial tags associated with the event). Flower Girls also has an animation selector addon mod. works a bit different but also provides a popup menu... and is also limited in its scope by the tagging. both of these can be found in the compatibility thread in the main Skyrim forum
riheyedi Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 I have been looking for a similar mode for a long time since Sexlab Tools does not help much. I have a lot of animations and only a few of them are usable, for the others you have to go through sexlab to launch them. The ideal would be to be able to change the list when you press the 0 key.

As I already noted, Defeat provides such a hotkey. default is "0" If you don't want Defeat's characteristic functions, **disable the actors from using them in "general settings". The animation-sequence selector hotkey *should* still be active in all applicable SL style animations (FG and OSA OSEX OTA, O-Whatever are different). FG has its own selector mod addon. OSEX, idk **(the three settings located above the red rounded-rectangle highlighting the selector hotkey : Player as victim, Player/follower aggressor, and NPC vs NPC) Spoiler
riheyedi Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Yes thank you but I know this key, what I wanted to say is that the proposed list is limited and does not include all the animations when you have many. I also know the Defeat mode but the problem is identical. Some ( most ) can only be selected via the animation editor. I will try to explain it differently, when an animation is launched it is selected according to the tag of the situation, aggressive, normal, etc... then when you press 0, you can change the animation but most of them are not present.

The "current" list of animations in a given dropdown is defined by the tag chosen by whatever SL magic chooses tags for animation sets. EX: girl on girl will cough up one list, while 2 guys one girl will cough up another. While another "pairing" will result in yet another list. (ex; beast and player) To edit the animations used for a given tag, afaik you can do so in SL's "Toggle Animations" MCM. Beyond that idk. I've never tweaked the animation listings in Toggle Animations. I just know they're there, and ~kinda how they're supposed to work. (make sure to select a tag before editing) OH, and for some character pairings, don't expect to get more than one or two in a list. (EX: two trolls one female-human: there are two and only two afaik, and one of the two available animations thinks one of the trolls is female) << Bottom line: Not all pairings have sufficient numbers of animations from animation packs to provide more than one, or two, or three animations in a given dropdown list associated with that pairing)
