I'm pretty sure this is because I updated Follow Me For Sex to the latest version, but even removing it causes the crash (and even if it didn't crash, removing the mod in the past causes everyone to A-pose). I've tried updating SKSE, updating load orders, starting it from Steam, the works. Nothing. Menu opens, and crash. It should be noted that I am extremely stupid and don't know what I'm looking for half the time. Yes, I use Vortex, no, I don't want to hear "you use VORTEX!?!?! There's your problem!!!!". That doesn't help, all it does is stroke your own ego. Hop it does for you the same Edit: don't forget to run the game after that via steam once.

As i had something similar with the mouse in the middle of the screen the other day after windows update installed - February 24, 2021-KB4601554 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 2004, Windows Server, version 2004, Windows 10, version 20H2, and Windows Server, version 20H2 Re-installing x64 version of the required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 mentioned on the SSe Engine fix page - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=posts and then restarting PC fixed it for me If your using SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=description - might be worth a try

I also can't believe that when I searched online for the problem, none of the other pages where people were having the same problem were given suggestions this easy. I didn't even have to run it through steam, I just validated the file integrity and that fixed it completely. Thank you for the tip, if I had known it was that easy I would have tried it from the start.
