thaclone Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 greetings fellow earthlings of the interwebs, I have a question about layers of clothing. I have a lot of CC (obviously). There are some short shorts that I want to combine with some (unmodded) leggings. But the problem is, that these leggings are always on top of the shorts - see picture attached. Which looks totally stupid. Is there a way to change the order of the layer? So that the leggins are underneath the shorts? I have S4S and I can "work" with it, but I have just no idea, what to do I have no problem, with modding the EA leggings, to solve this problem Hope somebody can help me
Oops19 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 There should be a sort layer property. Anyhow I don't create CC, just read about it at s4s.
Vthena Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Open the shorts in S4S, go into the "Warehouse" tab. On the left make sure "CAS Part" is selected, and on the right find "Sort Layer" and type a number here. What number? Well, I'm not sure, I think it has to be bigger than the leggins layer, so 11000 should work. You may have to do this for every "CAS Part". Don't forget to click "Save", and check the result in-game!
thaclone Posted March 19, 2021 Author Posted March 19, 2021 thank you both on the S4S homepage I found this here: Quote Item Sort Layer necklace/rings 17100 untucked shirt/full body 16000 pants/skirts 14000 bikinis 14000 tucked in shirt 13000 hair 12000 hat/helmet 11000 shoes 10700 tight/socks 10500 underwear 10400 facepaint 7500 beard 8300 eyebrows 7000 blush 5600 lipstick 5500 eye liner 5300 eye shadow 5200 eye 4000 tattoo 3000 skin detail 2100 mermaid tail 1050 earrings/glasses 0 and changed the layer of the shorts - they were "marked" as underwear, so I changed them to pants/skirts and now it works as intended. This table might come in handy for others as well
