Skyrim don't start anymore.

Recommended Posts

After I installed some mods, I try to open it via MO2, it opens the following window.

EngineFixes.dll

SKSE/Trampoline.h(187): Failed to handle allocation request

Previously it was working perfectly, opening normal. Now I can't start skyrim anymore after that.

Did you install "Address Library for SKSE Plugins" and " Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019"?

Yes and no. I don't installed the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019, unfortunately. I just saw it here, I swore it had installed. I installed it at this point, he asked to restart my PC. Was that why the skyrim gave this error in MO2?

You installed this didn't you:  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?showtopic=6640576&p=70506008&tab=description

If so, you might try reinstalling it along with its two requirements (see post above this).

I tried to reinstall, but it looks like it didn't work.

And make sure that your left window in MO is correct and not sorted by A-Z

Dont forget @Gregahit question, that one is important.

I did not touch this part, I leave it default, is that why you are giving an error?

Hey there!

I was having the same problem. And then realized that Engine Fixes has been updated. So what I did to resolve it was completely remove SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin). (Don't forget about the loose files from part 2)

And completely remove Address Library for SKSE. Then reinstall both mods fresh. Then I did a reboot and I was back in business. Hope this helps

Yes, they update, but to my bad luck I uninstalled the whole game again thinking that a specific mod had broken my game. What bad luck! Thanks, mate. I'm thinking of playing another game like Fallout 4, Skyrim SE has been getting really heavy on my PC, I thank everyone for their help.

I figured it out. Engine Fixes ONLY work with Skyrim SE Steam ver. And if you use Skyrim SE cracked ver, this error will appear. Engine Fixes can help Skyrim SE run with "Lot of mods".

Without it some mods won't work (example: Alternate Start - Live Another Life won't work: all dialogue will be disable)

I'm doing necro but this is the only post about this error here. Just like Hachi Haru said, its from SSE Engine Fixes, it gives that error on MOST pirated copies of the game. DO NOT ASK FOR HELP ON NEXUS, you'll get BANNED, you can appeal and provide proof that you bought the game, but if you didn't, well, you're out of luck. You can go to the nexus page and search for "BANNED" in the posts, all of them are asking for the same error,

Solution? Buying the game.

If anyone still here, I got the same problem. Downgraded with patcher to 1.5.97 version and installed all requirements. My game copy is "bona fide" bought on steam, can provide handle if needed. Installed engine fix to fix the false corrupt saves problem but seems like more trouble than it's worth.
