GECK.O Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I have a problem with downloading from the LoversLab. I also notice, some people also get the same problem as well. So this is LoversLab server problem. When downloading a big file like 4MB+, LoversLab always disconnect at around 1MB. So I must restarting again from the beginning. The problem is, it always disconnect at 1MB, so how many times I restarted the download, it won't finish. Even hundreds to thousands of times. The problem already being reported in many threads, but get no any respond from anyone who in-charge in LoversLab. So I started this thread, I hope someone will notice it.
Ark of Truth Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 That's not the server but your browser. What browser you using? I can download files fine from the site. One of them being a 50MB one.
GECK.O Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 This is weird, I'm using Firefox 19.0.2. I tested to download with Free Download Manager and Firefox itself, but both of them have the same disconnecting issue at around 1MB.
Ark of Truth Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Yeah I used to use Firefox and had the same problem. I switched to Chrome and have not had issues since with downloading.
GECK.O Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 ^ Unbelievable, but it works! I already tried for couple of days, so much stress. Thank you so much!!!
Ashal Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 ^ Unbelievable, but it works! I already tried for couple of days, so much stress. Thank you so much!!! I doubt this is it. Other people have stated this problem, and a reason has been given countless times in countless topics, which is why I've since started ignoring peoples complaints about it, because they fail to use the search to find it's already been mentioned time and time again. The problem was found to be the result of a few peoples internet not playing nice with CloudFlare, as of yesterday I have disabled CloudFlare on the site due to no longer needing it's bandwidth saving. Your success now is more likely a result of that.
GECK.O Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 ^ So that was not because of Chrome... LOL I don't know what is the keywords to search such kind of topic. But a big thank you for solving the problem. Btw, do you have any plan for download resume support?
