Semi-noob here.

How do I get the same Hook-5 lighting in a room as in the model-customizer room?

The models seem to look a lot better during customization.

None of the default rooms have level_defs. They all get their settings from main11.fx in your binaries folder. So you would either have to create an ActiveMod version of said room with custom level_defs, or play with the settings in main11.fx until you get the results you're looking for. If it's an ActiveMod room that already has a level_def, you might get away with just deleting it.
