CD-Alyx Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 I added a hard drive to my computer, and it changed the letters of all my drives except C. Now the pathway for MO2 is all messed up. Can someone help me? I don't know if I can just rename the drives, or if I need to do something more complicated.
Just Don't Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 In MO2 go to Settings and check the "Paths" tab: There you can re-direct your folders to its current location. Note that in the screenshot above I'm using a portable instance, so all the subfolders (downloads, mods, caches, profiles, overwrite) are pointing to the Base Directory (defined in the first field in that tab), if you're using a portable instance all you need to do is fix the path in the first and last field ("Base Directory" for your MO2 install, and "Managed Game" for your SE install). If you're not using a portable instance you'll also need to fix the paths in these subfolders. But it should be an easy fix either way if all you need to change is the drive.
Potato_Skill Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 You can set up paths for your MO2 again in this case, it's not complicated. Press Ctrl + S to open "Settings" and you can manage your paths there. Here's my setup for example: Edit: LoL, someone's beaten me to it. Imma just leave it here I guess.
