Help needed for mod related to specific male or female playercharacter and CTD (solved)

Hello everybody

not long ago i started to play Skyrim SE with all these "heavy and core" related mods on my new computer with a fresh instal of the game and the mods.

After playing with my female character for some weeks without any problems, i just wanted to start a new game with a male character and this endet up with a CTD.

 

I was able to create my male character and play the way down to Alvors house in Riverwood. After some minutes in the house all the MCM related notivications started in the upper left corner and then during this process it just closed the game back to desktop without error or warnings.

I tried to load the last save, entering Alvors house and the same happens again, start notivications-back to desktop.

After some more tries, i remember and beleave there was a mod i had to decide on the installation if i play with a female or male character, but i dont remember the mod himself, was it Body related or Sexlab related or Animations related.

 

It only happens when i try to play as a male character, with my female character i can still play without any problems.

I hope someone can help me with this and give me some advise what to do to change between the opposite gender playthrue if swithing between them.

That'd be the Doppelganger Follower.

@rb888 no i dont use loot.

 

@Alessia Wellington you are right, it is the Doppelganger Follower mod that caused my CTD with the male playercharacter.

I deinstalled this mod and started a new game as a malecharacter and everything runs just fine.

Thank you so much for your answer and this tip about the Doppelganger mod, i never thougt about a follower mod would be the cause of this problem, because it was in another location and during the registration notivication from the MCM and the Doppelganger mod has no MCM settings.
