Aki K Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I recently moved a dance animation from one mod to another. For the most part it works, but the dance animation normally includes an object and when used by the new mod the object is absent. How can I make the moved animation include the missing object?
Andy14 Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 First, you need the object's nif. Usually in the mod's animations folder. Then you have to enter the animation in the FNIS.txt of the mod so that the Nif is used - parameters and information about the nif file. If you don't know how - look in the FNIS.txt of the mod from which you got the animation. If you have changed the FNIS.txt accordingly, you have to run FNIS_For_Modders to process your FNIS.txt. If that worked without errors, you need to run FNIS_For_Users. And depending on the type of mod and the Nif, the Nif must be part of the ESP. In my mod I have a little tutorial (in bad English) in which something is written about animations and FNIS - maybe the PDF will help.
