t.ara Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I guess nowwhere else is any serious answer related to my questions and I am sure that LL-freaks have the answer for me: 1.) How can I add realistic working COLLISION to new meshes, which I want to add to sims4 game (the sims 4 editor seems to me only a "mesh-replacer", which is a nice modding tool but not really working for really serious game-stuff-extensions....most of new assets´s not available collisions are overshadowed by adding different other build-parts by dropping them right into the new mesh to get a sort of fake-collision-which is of course anoying. This may also be a reason, why there are nearly NO building-sets. 2.) Is somebody working here with 3dsmax for adding some new stuff to SIMS 4? - Maybe I get a hint for a "package-editor", which is seriously workingcompared to nifscope 3.) Is there a EA-games SIMS4 editor??? Thank you for any info:-))
Oops19 Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 3) You don't mean CAS, don't you? No. CC creators use tools like sims4studio, s4pe, ... and blender / Milkshape. 2) Not sure whether there are plugins to import 3ds data in s4s/s4pe. Blender may be required. 1) You may add collision detection to your meshes and use it in 3ds. Don't expect that Sims4 supports it. It's a render-only engine without physics support. There are some IK points which can be used for animations. Adding more bones to work around this problem is impossible as the game limits each object to 180 bones. You may also ask at the s4s forum but don't expect a miracle. It's not the fault of modders that all available CC is not perfect.
