TheJuice Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 After talking to Motor Runner and going through the sex encounter for the first time he doesn't return my things. If I try talking to him a second time the dialogue suggests that I left the vault and returned, and still no equipment return. After the second encounter, only the standard interactions are present like selling drugs, asking about vault residence, etc. Wondering if there is a fix. Should I post my load order? edit: I'll just do it anyway. Destynova99 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Checklist: Did you remember to disable stalkers in Brutal Rapers before you went the Motor Runner? Did you try loading a save from before you talked to him to try again? Did you install the mod using FOMM? Or did you use another manager like NMM instead? All the Sexout mods and any .fomod in general are best installed with FOMM.

zippy57 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Just stalkers; if they kick in during a scripted sequence things will be horribly broken. It's best to disable stalkers when in any area with scripted sequences of any kind, though Vault 3 should be added to the banned cell list, I'll have to look at that. This particular sequence has always been a bit finicky, since talking to him at the wrong time can cause the entire sequence to repeat, but I don't think it's ever been completely broken.
TheJuice Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Well I unchecked stalkers but I get the same result. I'll do a clean save of fiends tryout and see if that works (when in doubt), or should I do a complete tryout clean save, or should I just not do that at all?
zippy57 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Try a clean save for just Fiends (make sure you do it with a save made before ever entering Vault 3) and try again.

zippy57 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 The only change I've made to Fiends was to clean some dirty edits, so I'm not sure why something would suddenly stop working. Still, I'll take a look at it.

He rapes you like four times in a row so if your rapist KO is shorter than your rape victim KO that may have affected things. He says something in between each rape. The last one involves him raping your mouth and then he makes one of his dogs rape you. I did notice a brief moment of the whole "starting to zoom into firstperson view but then exiting" after the dog rape, I don't know if Motor-Runner is supposed to say one last thing or if that was something like one of the fiends trying to come in to initiate dialogue or what... but he middle locker was unlocked and I got all my stuff out of it. If any of that didn't happen for you, like if Motor-Runner just banged you once and then didn't do it again, then that may be due to rapist KO time. If you got all that though and your stuff still isn't in the locker, then something may have interfered with the script that grabs all your weapons and armor and stores it in the locker. I would think even without the Motor-Runner dialogue that the stuff would be in the locker if you used the console to unlock it. Hmm...
RitualClarity Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I was having problems with sexout before (related to my previous post issues of Tryout) so I did a fresh install of the game and sexout. I paid particular attention to the actual order of installation. All mods installed were the current mods (stable versions) from about a week ago. I believe Pregnancy and SCR just recently updated. It worked as prescribed without any bashed or merged patches made (yet) . Two normal sex (doggie style, don't know if that matters) One anal, (again doggie style) One oral (on the knees) Motorunner talks about how he sent word etc. Basically nobody will touch you including Violet, Driver, and Cook Cook etc. Tells you to do his dog. (BoneGnash) and when finished the center locker is open. It works completely and correctly as it had before when Tryout was developing this mod. Destynova99-- I also had the strange focus camera towards Motorunner after finishing the dog. Nothing came of it however, and yes the stuff is in the locker without the conversation. At least the last time when I couldn't get it to work. I don't currently have as many mods as you. perhaps either the installation steps were missed or another mod is interfering with this one. BruceWayne Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 The zoom in on the face, but doesn't say anything part, is a messed up dialogue topic. So for instance MR has a line, which is its own topic and is set to happen after a scene and specifically called, but the conditions on the topic are preventing him from saying it. I don't know if the scene works for others, but this sounds more like a bug in his dialogue.

RitualClarity Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I fast traveled to Vault 3 and went through the Motorunner episode and it works flawless except for the last zoom to face. When that zoom finishes, which takes only seconds, I can walk to the center locker and get my stuff. However I haven't returned to first person. I have to pull out my pipboy and put it back to reset. Then I can get a move on and get my stuff. I forgot to mention that because that happens sometimes in my games after an animation. I don't know if it could cause issues with others games. I am still fooling around with loading mods and testing and such so if there is something someone wants me to try game-wise to see if something is causing issues let me know soon (before I fool around with the load order and more mods)
