Mods overriding each other question

hello, sorry if the answers already out there, but when a mod conflicts with another mod, should i Always have the mods go after another, before or never together? would it matter IF the mods are put as "never together with"? yes i am using vortex atm, i just got off from mo2 coz idk what to do with override files. i guess i do know what to do but i'm not 200% sure if i was doing it "correctly". but yea, for some mods, i have no idea if i should load it before or after, such as ZaZ pack 8+ with milk economy assets, or ZaZ with SexLab trigger effects. i have no idea what should load after, anyways thanks.

There is no "together" mods all load one after the other.

Which mod needs to load first depends on the mods. In general, you best bet is to use LOOT to sort you load order. A bashed patch. or a SSEEdit merged patch, will sort out things like leveled list conflicts.

It's "never together". It means only one or the other will load rather than one after the other.

First, it doesn't matter which mod manager you use just get to know it and stick with it.

Use common sense. If one mod is 3 years old and the other is six months old then let the newer overwrite the older.

Look at what files are being overwritten and try to get an idea of what that means in game.

Be familiar with the mods you use. Read the description page and keep an eye on the support thread to see what is being said.

With Vortex make your choice of what is going to overwrite what. If it is not right when you go in game then simply change it to the other way around.

You shouldn't have to bother with the "never together" option.
