Thatguy0021 Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 A week ago, it stopped mid-playthrough so I tried researching what people had questioned before. Anything I can debug with MCM options, I did. After deciding to cut my losses, I started fresh and it worked for 2 dungeons, but then I noticed it not triggering or breaking any of the lucky charms. I've tried reloding back to when it started working, but then it didn't work from that point... so I started fresh again (reinstalled all mods I had been using). Now that I'm on my third start with it, it flat out doesn't trigger. I'm out of ideas and hate that this mod is always what breaks. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it? I can post load order, but when things worked so well until Cursed Loot was introduced, I do not believe it's any mod but. [If I'm posting in the wrong spot, tell me so I can move it]

Veladarius Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Cursed Loot is generally a solid mod but can run into issues if things get overloaded. If it has stopped it may not restart and you would either need to go back to a save where it was working or start a new game. I would recommend running it in low performance mode (I think that is what it is called, limits how often it runs things). Also, if you are using other mods that update often or constantly you will end up having issues (particularly ones that monitor and modify the body shape). Skyrim isn't able to handle a lot of mods trying to do lots of things at once. One common mod that does a lot in the background is Creature Framework. I suggest setting the cloak rate and arousal poll rate to at least 30 seconds and dropping the cloak range to 0.5 cells or less (I run 0.25 cells). This will cut down on the number of actors it scans and how often.
