honeybutteraddict Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Just once again offering my services as an event text writer ^^ It's been a while since I've been on here, but I'd love to get back into it. Eventually I want to learn to code for my own ideas, but as that'll take a while, I'm going to stick to what I know: writing! If there's anyone out there who wants someone to write events for their mod, or even just proofread and edit, let me know!

It'd make more sense and be a more efficient use of their time to have some idea of what someone looking to make a mod - with an already clear vision in mind - would want. It just seems odd to go about writing a bunch of random events and hoping you can randomly write one up someone is willing to code and that its written in a way that makes sense in whatever context is ends up getting implemented in.

I'd do it, just I wanna see if its really worth the time, so write one event to show your skill, or don't but then I wont do it.
bobbily Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I imagine many mod writers would be happy to have someone willing to craft a few events and flesh out their work (I know I would), but it's probably a better idea to just PM them or post something in the thread of whatever mod you really like. As is, I'm not even sure what kind of events you're interested in writing (fetishes, scenes, etc.).

Linking to a gallery or other works would probably suffice for that. Its exceptionally hard to coordinate localization writing without knowing how the coding end is going to look and how it might turn out in game.

I would like random buffs as satisfaction for 1 year -10 stress, rub my penis for 1 year - 1 valor, learn new experiences for 1 year + 1 erudition. Something went not so ashamed to remember -1 diplomacy, spent a lot on incense and oils -1 management. All this can be submitted through the events after sex, which will also be described.
M4rocks Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Well that wouldn't be an event mod, that would be a modifier mod, and that would suck to make, I'd need to be high to even consider making that mod. (Don't know about anyone else though, but this is probably what we're thinking)

I'm happy to give samples of my writing, I'm just not really sure what would serve as a good portfolio. I'm also happy to write any kind of scene, fetish or otherwise, and I don't really think I have any limits in that regard, although of course I'll be better at writing things I have experience in. My areas I'm best at in writing in general are characterisation and description, and when it comes to kink, I have most experience writing D/s dynamics and scenes.
