Having Trouble Removing Tattoo On This Sim

As the title says.

 

Of course, the first place I looked was in Body/Tattoos in CAS. I also tried Accessories, Makeup....pretty much any category I could think of.  But this tattoo is not listed as her even having a tattoo. So, I thought it might be part of a skin. But, tried about 6 different skins, and it doesn't go away. The original Sim download contain some custom CC, but I can't recall what among that CC would be causing it. There was no tattoo (at least named) in the original archive, or anything that would give me a hint about what it's called.

Well it is an actual EA tattoo because I added it to one of my sims recently.

Usually you can just find the tattoos in CAS body and click the red X on the tattoo category to remove all.

 

Don't think there is a way to make it permanent on custom sims unless someone else knows different.

Thing is, as I mentioned, I go to tattoos and there is no red x. It's saying I have no tattoos on her body in CAS.

Whoever made her must have done some other tricks then I'm unaware of.

You didn't see anything included that had 'default' in the filename?

No, there was nothing that even hinted about a skin type containing a tattoo. I did find one skin in my CAS that got rid of it, but the problem was that it didn't allow any skin tones, strangely.

Might have been an older cc skin tone from before the skin tone patch and is actually broken.

 

It's why I'm a bit paranoid about using custom sims in my game, but not that I haven't mind you.

Sometimes you get a hold of a sim that was made years ago and they used different bodies, skins, etc. that might not work with the latest game version.

Heck they might even have been made with Legacy Game version but IDK if that would matter or not.

 

But some I've downloaded even had parts of Wild Guy's FBD, Wicked, & Wicked Perversions mods and all were old versions to boot.

Then you have some that merged cc and or mods together with a non-descriptive name so they might have several hidden that you can never find including obsolete traits.

 

All I can think of is moving all your mods and cc to a temp folder on your desktop and delete the localthumbcache.

You could leave MCCC installed to make it easier to get her into CAS to see if it's fixed or not.

Just don't make any new saves with mods removed.

 

This might prove if it's a mod or cc content causing it at least.

Although I have a hunch the tattoo is somehow embedded into the sim files that go into the tray folder.
