I cannot get SSE to launch properly from MO2!!! No mods work. For example, I have Alternate Starts installed and activated through MO2 but when I launch the game through MO2 using SKSE, the game starts vanilla (in the cart going to Helgen). I have done everything I can think of. I've re-installed SKSE, Steam and MO2 and it's still not working. I am at the end of my rope. I'm at the point where I want to delete Steam and not bother with Skyrim again! Please help!

I've done this. This is the video I used to make sure I installed MO2 correctly. I still can't get the game to recognize that I have mods installed. I'm seriously at the point where I'm just going to trash the whole thing. Playing a game should not be this maddening.

Could you post some screenshots of MO2, that might help us narrow down the problem.

I'll try to get some up, but it really doesn't look like there should be a problem. It looks a lot like my LE install which worked fine. I really want to give SSE aa shot, so I hope I can figure it ou!

Did you run the game first without using SKSE?

 

It needs to create an ini first (done once you leave the cart in Helgen) and won't work properly without it.

I did. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I've deleted  SSE and have gone  back to LE.
