Man I can't believe no one has mentioned "Crossroads" by Eric Clapton or "Life in the Fast Lane" by the Eagles. "Green River" or "Fortunate Son" by CCR.

most many musicians In folk magic and mythology, crossroads may represent a location "between the worlds" and, as such, a site where supernatural spirits can be contacted and paranormal events can take place and may you should read Robert Johnson story about how he sold his soul to master of the world aka SATAN to be greatest guitarist in history :)

btw no satan no fun and youre one of us the citizen of hell  :)

Melodic yet still aggressive. Just how I love it.

A death metal classic. Just brutal guitar, ready to make me windmill anywhere, anytime.

I prefer the original version of Crossroads "Crossroad Blues", by Robert Johnson, recorded in 1936.

Here's a nice one:

You'll have to go to youtube to see it though.

That last one sounded as if Death and Wintersun had a child.

I really like the intro+riff to Raining Blood by Slayer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKILvAggpYw

And the solo in Blinded by Fear by At the Gates is right out marvelous! It's short, but oh so sweet ;). 2:11 in this video

But let's face it, there are so many insanely good riffs out there I would probably find some new favourites if I searched around a bit :P.

Pretty much anything played by Dave Gregory or Andy Partridge

of XTC... Towers of London, Roads Girdle the Globe etc. Their

album 'Drums and Wires' still sounds fresh even after the 30+ years

since I first heard it.

Buck Dharma does some tasty riffing too; I love BOC's 'Secret Treaties'

album. (R.I.P. Allen Lanier :( )

People should use spoiler tags when showing more than 2 videos, otherwise this thread turns into "Hardcore&Metal appreciation" thread where no one can understand shit, with so many videos displayed. Also the fact that pages take a while to load won't help.

Anyway, more of my favorites:

Really addictive riffs for me. A great song.

If you can't dig the chick vocals, concentrate on the awesome guitar :D. My recommendation to a friend who doesn't like female growling

Those riffs scream for headbanging
