High Resolution UNP Textures

Hello!

 

I was wondering if anyone here knew if and where one can obtain high resolution UNP Textures.

I am asking because of this mod:

The author revealed that hes using 8192x8192 however he doesnt seem willing to give those to the public or reveal where he got em from.

 

So, does anyone know where to get those?

He made them himself as far as I know but 8192x8192 textures seem pretty pointless to me anyway.

I think it would just slow your loading time and eat video RAM in the process. I use 4096x4096 resolution only on my character. Everyone else uses 2048x2048 to save up on loading screen time. But I have to say, I didn't even know Skyrim supported super-high rez textures like that.

Would it? After all its just a bodytexture, it should be far less impact taking as other retexture mods as they tend to increase the resolution of a lot of things that are in the same area at the same time.

 

Also, do you see a difference on your char with the 4k textures?

Mostly all the "Mega" high res textures that ever get made, never go public! They either get scrubbed and put on the back burner or they go into extreme VIP or sole use of the author as private and eventually forgotten :/.

 

I still await the day where say face textures start becoming 4k and all the other body bits go higher. Specially the body normals!
