Chelsea Standalone Companion hair problem

There's a pretty good teen follower mod over at Nexus called "Chelsea - Standalone Companion".  http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28188

The person did a great job but the hair is messed up.  That's the only thing wrong with this mod.  It's using one of the Lovely Hair styles (which is not the problem) but the bangs and back of neck are messed up.  I can't figure out how to get rid of the hair underneath.  Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,

Are you referring to the hairline? You can just remove the hairline with nifskope. Load it into nifskope right click it select block then remove. Then hit the save as so that it overwrites the nif file. Not sure if you can just remove the hairline nif file or not.

Actually, the hairline mesh is separate from the hair.  If you don't want the hairline, just delete hairline.nif then in CK, remove the hairline that is included as an addition to the hair in the headpart (HDPT) record.

Was just messing around her hairline disappears if you use the changenpcweight console command. I used it and the hairline disappeared though the hair turned into a varnished purple looking hair. But that's what I have wigs for. Also shrunk her down and then later changed her to my race. Just too see how she would look.

Using nifskope, I deleted hairline12.nif but still get that annoying hairline.  I'll try CK and remove the hairline addition and see if that works.
