DocClox Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Basically, this: The skin tops just below the knee and doesn't resume until the foot mesh takes over. I've looked at the Falmer outfits in Bodyslide preview and they all appear to have complete bodies, but rebuilding them doesn't make the problem go away. I suppose there might be a zap at work, but I didn't see one, and I'd have expected to see an active zap reflected in the preview. I should add that it's possible I have the wrong bodyslide files. I got this outfit by way of Hateful Wenches and Bikini Armors (CBBE) - Special Edition, but I had some problems getting some of the armors to show up in Bodyslide and I've scavenged files from all over nexus. That said, I'd still expect what previewed to be what I saw in game. Any ideas?
Scrab Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Calves are actually using their own slot in the game I dont know if i can manage to recall it in my head but when you open the outfit in xEdit there should be a list somewhere naming the slots the outfit takes up. A body armor needs to use the following 3 slots: Forearms, Body and Calves or else stuff like that can happen ... actually I just quickly made a screen: Note that some cover up even more slots, the falmer heavy cuirass also lists ring and amulet in the vanilla game
spoonsinger Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Out of curiosity, looking at the image there is something there above the feet. What happens if you take the texture elements out of the nif on those nodes, (i.e. blank the strings in nifskope). Does it show a block of mauve? If so it might be something weird one of the texture layers formats. Just a quick thought and can't look at the moment because I got to go and break something in real life.

There's a lot of separates in the mod - chances are the body doesn't use the calf slot so as not to prevent something else from using it. Digging a little deeper, there's a tight boot that appears in the NPC inventory but is invisible in the game, and the mod description says some parts were left out because they caused CTDs or graphical issues. Googling a bit more, there's a Sun Jeong 3BBB conversion that looks to be a bit better made. I'll try that. Nope! Tlam99 Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Just a test would changing slot 38 to 53 in xedit. Or open in niscope if there are textures defined for the body skin. Outfitstudio should show it also, import nif of this armor should show all textures used.
