I'm looking for a way to turn down magic FX

You've probably been here. You've just  installed a new mod; lots of cool looking enemies and you're just about to face your first mob from this source. And then the first thing the mob does is summon half a dozen lesser mobs, and they all cast custom spells with big, bright swirly special effects. All of a sudden you can't see a damn thing, much less tell friend from foe, and while you're waiting for the glare to die down the fuckers scrag you, and it's time to reload.

 

I get why modders do it.  All that swirly color makes for great screenshots on the Nexus, but the game is no fun if I can;'t see to play the damn thing.

 

So if the enemy are going to use flash grenades, there ought to be a countermeasure we can use. Where can I find a set of +5 Polaroid Sunglasses?

I admit, I was hoping for more "glare mitigation" than "literal sunglasses".
