GenmaSaotome Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Took some time to run through all 34 dances. The new additions are great, as are the in game mod guide and pop-ups. There are, however, a few issues I've found with 4.0 that I'd like to point out: first off, the animations for several songs loop after the music has ended; second, for a few of the songs the sychronization of the dancers degrades with time, something that doesn't seem to happen in the vids you've posted (This is probably a hardware limitation on my end. I'm hoping a defrag will ameliorate it.); lastly, and most important, Dance Sync 4.0 doesn't seem to work with Personality Idles or other "idle" mods. This was never an issue for me with DS3. I would sooner drop Personality Idles than DS4, but I'd rather keep them both if possible. BTW, I'm using the BSA version.

Some of the new dance have BBB support, but not all, as the primary purpose was to get tail support ot them. only one song won't support Tail(As it's the last one to be added in)

GenmaSaotome Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I've found a pretty easy fix for the "idle" animations mod conflict with DS4.0. I'll leave it here for anyone who cares. Basically it's a load order issue. The dance idle animations are now called by an esm and since esm's are loaded first, "idle" animation mods will override it. With wryebash you can copy the dancesynchronizator.esm to an esp, delete the esm, place the newly created dancesynchronizator.esp directly above the dance[*].esp, and then change the dance[*].esp's master to aforementioned dancesynchronizator.esp.
