Hide WW menu

Hi all!

I really like Wicked Whims, I really think it adds a lot to the  game!

There is one thing that bothers me however: having the WW menu on mostly every game object. I never use those, and are somewhat distracting and immersion breaking.

I would really like for WW to stay mostly out-of-sight, with the only option to change settings and to have sex with a sim (in the same vein as the vanilla woohoo).

 

Is there an option to do that? Even moving them to the shift-click menu would be good!

No I don't think it can be disabled or hidden but I may be wrong.

 

I think the reason is because any object that is a viable sex object will bring up the WW menu to use manual sex and other objects like most clutter won't show that menu.

How would you use WickedWhims' features if the only way to interact with the mod was hidden?

In two ways, actually:

- With one of the sim selected, click on the other sim > romance > have sex

- When Autonomy kicks in and auto selects the two partners

 

I find it way more immersive when the game automatically selects the location and animation to play.

Isn't the menu on the object there just to specify the exact animation and partner to use? Or am I doing it wrong? 

 

PS: I'm talking about the menu that appears on objects for initiating sex, not the one on sims or computers, nor the one to change animation. location, etc once sex is in progress.

Ok, I imagine this is not possible

After more thinking, I found that my biggest gripe with the WW menu is that I apparently have some 3rd party animations on most of the objects, which makes the menu appear basically everywhere. Perhaps, if I could disable those, I can partially solve my issue.

I would like to ask if anyone knows how to know which animations trigger on a particular item. I have tried using the menu WW > Sex... > Oral (for example) but it just says I have no valid target.

Is there a (debug?) command available to list them per object, like there is by creator?

I know this post has aged a bit but I’d like to add that I too would like this feature.

 

First let me say that I appreciate all of the different features this mod has to offer. It is very unique and probably one of the most powerful mods for story telling, which in itself is amazing.
 

The issue for me is when I’m not story telling, which for me is 95% of the time. I’m playing simply for the gameplay aspect of tending to my sims like new age tamagotchi. When I’m playing like this I use WW exclusively for the removal of mosaic blur and access to the Body Selector. These two features are all I need to feel submerged in the simulation but this is constantly interrupted by how VIBRANT this mod can be.  
 

Many UI aspects of this mod are extremely eye catching. From the name “Wicked” to the Purple Heart with aggressive eyes icon. Sometimes it feels like “Hey look at me! I’m a mod!” 
 

A great example of this is with MCCC. 
You can designate where that mod appears on your game including shift clicking. It simply runs in the background and does what needs to be done quietly. I never forget that’s it there even with not being constantly reminded. To me the sims is about simulation and this mods UI lacks a bit in the allusion aspect. 
 

An optional shift click would literally address all of this. 

 

OR… and I may be reaching a bit here but hear me out…

 

A separate mod that’s just mosaic blur and a shift click body selector. Would be nice for some one who is ok with nudity but doesn’t plan on adding an eroticism past the good ol softcore.

Same here. The mod is fantastic but it plays like the main feature instead of an add-on to the game for me. Not that the WHOLE MOD should be changed. Not that at all. Just visibility settings. A setting for interactions made visible through shift-click would be pretty dope. Or another creative solution. Maybe like you said. A softcore version in between Wicked Whims and Wonderful Whims? Lol WhenWillYouBeSatisfied Whims? xD sorry that's all.

The thing is, Wicked Whims have become SO popular that at the present day it's extremely hard to "just" have automatic anatomically correct models in-game, without resourcing to attachable CAS items. And that is a mess.

 

WW makes the business of having naked people taking a shower far easier, 3D penises and all. And that's what I want for my daughters' game: normalizing nudity without stupid Barbie & Ken "bodies".

 

But of course I don't want the hard-core sex and the rest of the kinky stuff going around. So, I turned them off, but the problem is that my daughters aren't stupid, and if they see an extremely omnipresent icon every time they click on a character... well, it's obvious they're going to investigate and start turning option back on.

 

I know I can disable all animations, but still. It would be freaking great if the option would only appear with Shift or Control. That would be enough, and it could be a toggleable option not enabled by default.
