insightguy Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 (mods, if this should be in the adults section please tell me, though it's not inherently explicit, it may crossover with the adult due to the nature of the mod) I got tired of seeing newer and newer armor mods come out and not be compatible with femout4, so I decided to make a script for FO4Edit and test it on some mods like Dix Clothes Pack and We are the minutemen (the clothes/armors). So far they seem to work, but feel free to show me if they break anything. I have uploaded compatibility patches for them and some other mods below. credit to: Varithina for releasing a patch for the mercenary armor set which gave me the idea for this corsec for the original femout4 and the "loverslab" version of it Why am I doing this? I just hope that this will kick interest in it so that so that someone will at least try to make AAF be compatible with femout4 instead of just the Fourplay version being the only one due to fourplay being outdated to all hell. If not, then at least people have an easy way of making patches themselves P.S. Also, any updated guides for AAF? P.S.S. Is the Angeli Techsuit mod bugged? the consumable in the mod gives seems to give me 10 seconds of fast forward instead of 10 seconds of slowdown. How to use: Place the Femout4Compater.pas file into the FO4EDIT\Edit Scripts folder Open FO4EDIT and look for the .esp file of the armor/armorset you want to make compatible Open up "Armor Addon" and select all the items you want to make compatible right click and select "Copy as Override into", then select "<new file>.exp" the template with no ESM or ESL and give it a name go to the new .esp file you made and select all the items under "Armor Addon" Right click and select "apply script" Select the Femout4Compater Script in the scripts dropdown and run it. Save and exit. Enjoy! The script itself: Femout4Compater.pas Compatibility patches made with the script: Femout4 DlxClothesPack.esp Femout4 The Kite Slavesuit.esp Femout4 W.A.Minutemen.esp Femout4 Angeli Techsuit.esp Femout 4 Devious Devices.esp
Varithina Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Hell yes, creating patches for each and every mod that adds armor/clothing or npc is a pain in the but to say the least. I grabbed the skyrim le/se scripted version as soon as it appeared, one single patch for everything, yes please. ? Hmm, having actually read everything, it might be worth while seeing if you can get the script to just run on the entire load order in the same way the skyrim version does, that would be even better, though you could of course just merge all the patches that your script creates, or can the script just be used to keep adding to one esp or does it generate a new esp for each armor pack? This seems to be the install guide for aaf
insightguy Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 I'm pretty new to FO4 modding in general. I made the script more so I can get the mods I wanted working, I still had to manually copy them over to a new esp file (though that's more me doing it the quick and dirty way), but you seem to be on too something. Gonna have to do more research for this. if you have any suggested resources, please do direct them to me P.S. sorry if the script was kind of disappointing. I just hoped that this script would kick some interest in the continuation of femout4, specifically making it work with AAF
Varithina Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Currently I have no working Fallout 4 install to even try it with, I stripped out fusion girl after the mess with the changes to the body going from 1.45 to 1.6+, but was getting around to doing a re-build even before that, I just can not really settle down on which the install guide to use. As for getting femout to work with aaf, I have the sneaking suspicion that it would require some changes to the way aaf detects gender, as even with males looking like female and using female clothing and such they are still flagged in the game as male I think.

Would this still be an issue if I used the futa plugin that's available here in loverslab or does that just cause more problems? It does say it's meant to be fourplay compatible. I might experiment around sometime with that if no one has tested it. I mean at the very least the animations still sort of make sense that way. Also found the script for skyfem and seeing how it does it. i'll try to do what I can to make it like skyfem but the patcher will still require opening FO4Edit (because even the skyfem requires you to open SSEEdit). At least it should auto-patch everything in one go if it works properly.

Not too sure, I have not really played fallout 4 in ages, played around getting my game working yes, but actually played no, at present on my setup aaf does not work, you would be better of asking in the aaf posts about the futa plugin and how it would work with skyfem/aaf. I know basically nothing about scripting in these games, my only programing knowledge is in c++ and assembly, mostly assembly, and it has been about 20 years since I last used any of that.
