Hi everybody.

 

Since I'm back on Skyrim and use the confinement in France as time to code, I wish to make rework of some of my mods.

I don't know how they are appreciated, and if I'll be able to do it alone.

 

The questions are :

- From the Deeps : the idea is to turn it into a major Lovecraftian mod. Several quests all based on Lovecraft novels, with of course Insmouth (the village should be relocated closer to solitude ? there is some space in the coast neart Harkon castle island). Manakara and her cult as the main foes. Each quest can be win (you get some clues) or lost (you didn't get the clue). But, each quest, the Myth advances. Skyrim become a darker place each time the Myth advance (some creatures are lurking... cultists can be shown in cities). The end will be wkth Mankara, on a cliff, like the end of the Call of Chtulu. The end will depends of your successes by getting clues.

A madness system, night will make you become mad, have hallucinations, etc...

Some combats surely, but it will be more a dialogue mod.

Sex scenes ? I don't know... a visit of Ryelh in your dream ? Could be cool.

 

- Night Mistress Mansion :

Make it more story and linear.

The idea is to make the player explore all the cities and prostitution situations, under the iron hand in a soft gant of Axia Lilvahi. You begin at the bottom, and you'll finish to reach gyour goal as a courtesan, invisted in fine parties (I'm looking for the post you sexscreenshots for getting ideas). Of course, I wish to maintain the pictures of nudes women, the possibility to hire people and followers as whores, etc...

But I need to true story.

 

Do you think it's a good idea to redo these mods, or they are good as they are currently ?

 

Also, some other projects in the boxes.

 

- Ambiance in skyrim.

The idea is to make an ambiance mod, with several events involing npcs. The stable girl, etc...

 

- death penalty mod.

I'm on it, but I'm blocked...

 

- complex slavery

A slave market, hidden if slavery is illegal, easy accessible if slavery is legal. You and followers can be sold. Some slavery situations (the mine slave, the farm slave, etc...) for you and your followers, with possibilites of escape/buy your freedom.

Need compatibility with Slaverun and other slavery stuff I'm afraid.

Also, a little slaverun, but more focused on npcs interactions (slaverun is excellent, but far too heavy and vulgar for my taste).

 

Do you think these ideas are good, ot garbage ? Do hyou know if somebody else is already working of that (no need to make competitive projects).

 

And also, portage for SSE...

 

What I need ?

Ideas, inspiration, Scenarists, and modders if possible.

Probably not what you were asking for, but In my humble opinion its a unhealthy approach to ask whether or not people are interested in your ideas.

I cant speak for others, but when i started modding, i didn't do it because people voiced interest in it, i did it because I wanted to have it. 

If I were to go by the numbers, i would stop the deadly Furnitures right away and concentrate on the more conventional BDSM, because my little side venture in that direction has higher approval. But that's not something I necessarily need to have in the game, so i stay with my niche stuff.

 

To summ it up: You surely have a personal favorite you want to work on. just do that.

 

AND to answer your actual question:

I kinda wanted to do a reworked version of a execution mod myself at some point, but don't have to much fun with creating locations/dialogues. I like to stay within the papyrus Editor.

So if you still have interest in doing this, i might be able to offer some assistance. (Devices are already available after all).

I already began to make some stuff myself... but I didn't tested it yet, and stoped at the jail.

 

The idea is to :

- arrest player and followers if bounty for violent crime is superior to 3000 golds

- Followers and player registered to a list.

- chance to meet another fate (sold to slavery in corrupt holds, etc...)

- execution via hanging/beheading, depends of holds. Several people hanged at the time, cleaning of bodies, etc... (the idea is to execute player with 4 followers max, one after one for beheading, together for hanging). Other methods could be considerated.

- of course, player have chance to escape (2 days) and alternatives.

- each day, maybe 1 or 2 time per day, execution of randomly generated prisoner.

- a MCM to make it all configurable (I sucks in MCM...)

- some side quests which lead to execution

Sounds reasonable, but i want to suggest something:

Rather than having each hold handle its execution. I think its better to have a separate Place that handles the executions for All holds in skyrim. Some sort of supermax prison for high-bounty criminals.

This would allow for more flexibility since it minimizes interference with city/prison overhaul mods. And it would, for example, allow the user to have the mod installed alongside something like POP (meaning normal crimes are handled by POP. above Threshold crimes: get sent to the supermax with potential execution). other outcomes could also be handled from here.

POP duration in days, in game day, are ?

It's why I put an initial delay of 2 days, before trigger execution... but your idea is good.

 

Also, one of my ideas was to make a "complex slavery" stuff. I'm a kind disappointed to see NPCs are not handled in slavery mods, except begin just nude and raped... but it's very cloudy.

This would be glorious. As I understand it, Slaverun Reloaded can't be modified and turned into a new project, because the Reloaded author didn't give permission for that before disappearing. However, the author of the Slaverun used as a basis for Reloaded did allow modding the mod, so that would be a natural starting point. I very much agree on Reloaded being too heavy and vulgar. It has a massive amount of content, but it's mostly repetitive sex and whippings spaced by fetch quests. Smaller scope, higher quality, focus on interactions seems like a winner to me.

 

I've played some earlier version of FtD and found it to be an intriguing idea that doesn't fit Skyrim very well. NMM I haven't touched, because I'm not interested in whores and their trade. As far as I'm concerned, both mods are fine the way they are.

 

A functioning slavery mod is one thing Skyrim seems to be missing at the moment. We have defeat mods that link to Simple Slavery or even deliver the unfortunate player character to her fate directly, but not much for what happens after. There's Sanguine's Debauchery+, which is crippled by bizarre restrictions and owner demands. Devious Followers has a slavery side to it, though it's not exactly a slavery mod. Slaves of Tamriel was abandoned or on hiatus or something, and frankly looked pretty dull to me.

 

That, I think, is the biggest problem with generic slavery mods: how to make it interesting for the player? Mining, cooking, dancing and stuff will get old fast. Though the mod would need such tasks, the tasks can't be the meat of the mod. SD+ has a good thing going with tasks, demands, owner personalities, escape options and so on... but it breaks sooner or later. Usually sooner.
