Shout Imbued Weapons and Armors?

I'm thinking of making a mod where the player can "imbue" weapons and armor with the power of shouts- say like adding Elemental Fury or Marked for Death to any weapon, armor with different effects for each in a ritual like setting. I don't want to add it as an enchantment, but rather like the silver sword innate quality (script). I know how to do this mostly, but just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with it and can give a few pointers or maybe has seen a mod already doing this kind of thing.

 

If you have ideas for shout-powered weapons/armor, let me know since not all shouts would "translate" well to a weapon or armor. Like for Unrelenting Force, I would make the weapon like the shout and the armor more resistant to being knock down.

 

Messing with spells in this game is so much fun. One idea I had is that Unrelenting Force blows the enemy's armor off.

It would really be cool to integrate this with a Thane weapons overhaul.

Good idea! It actually would be easier to start like that and work my way up with the "imbued" stuff later. I've already seen some spells from the Apocalypse mod and others that make use of the shout powers for spells (since they are spells) that you "cast" with hand and in a very few weapons as enchantments. I ride my horse with a hammer enchanted with the Fus Ro Dah shout and send enemies flying and fuck it's so much fun- just got to be careful with the force of the spell or they will disappear over the horizon (which has happed to me before, lol).

 

I don't really know if I can do it the way I want without scripting, and I don't want to write new scripts anyway since functions work so much better. Besides, I don't know shit about scripting tbh. Otherwise could build the mod just fine though and have it complement/use other shout mods like Thunderchild.
