stuff missing

some of my furniture is missing like my bed, couches and counters and when i try to replace them i get a prompt saying script call failed. whats going on and how do i fix this.

Make sure all your mods are up to date with the version of the game you are running.

Update your Basemental Drugs mod.

I'm having the same problem. I updated Basemental Drugs mod, but still happening. How do find which other mod is causing the problem?

It's the only mod I know of that causes this so double check the BD version notification when you load your old save. 

(If you've saved your game with those objects still missing they are now gone for good so you will have to add them back in and save game again).

 

You can check here for other broken mods that might help but they don't allow mentioning of Basemental, or any other Adult mods.

The only other way is by removing all other mods, maybe even Basemental, and retest in game.

(Don't make any new saves with mods removed or when you get errors just exit the game so you don't wreck your original save).

Then you can add mods back into game one at a time until the problem returns to pinpoint the bad mod.

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache.package in your TS4 folder whenevr you add, remove, or update mods or the game itself.

Thanks for the help Scorpio...I thought of your suggestion and your original hunch about Basemental was correct. Instead of updating again I just took it out and the game worked. I tried to put it the latest version back in again and the same problem happened again. So, for now I will just leave it out until I see a new update. My sims will just have to sober up for a while.

OK good at least it's working now... 

I assume you were installing the public version BD v7.13.132

i've got a new problem i think they're missing textures, the bottom part of my sims face is completely black while the eyes are purple dots and black streaks on the arms and legs

You need to update NisaK Wicked Pervs and make sure you also update WW first and it might fix the problem.
