First Update: How do identify which files need to be updated?

Pretty much the title. This is my first update. I installed a bunch of mods, mostly clothes and whatnot, but also wicked whims and devious desires and stuff. How do I identify which mods need to be updated? I assume clothes don't need to be updated, but I don't know what else does. Also they're all loose, so that's a problem I have too.

Normalement, juste les mods a mettre a jours.

usually only script mods (and stuff like that) need to be updated after (nearly) every patch.

clothing, CAS and BB stuff is usually "free of updating"  except for the previous patch, where CC doors and windows needed an update, due to EA changing how those worked

 

but in the end, every mod that changes the gameplay itself needs to updated.
normally it takes the Modder around 1 weeks to fix it, so:

Rule 1: don't update the game on patch release

Rule 2: update the game, when every used mod is updated  (or read the patch notes of the mod, maybe some might not always need an update)

This thread is a good place to keep up with OTHER broken mods but they don't allow anything mentioned about 18+ mods, or drugs.

Luthenrising also has quite a few direct links to the updated mods listed.

  

(I always make a new folder in Downloads like Game Patch 1.68 mods, or whatever).

(Then start collecting updated mods as they come out and put them in that folder until I have all that I use)

(On occasion I miss one or two and have to hunt for them later if I still have errors or bugs)
