RebelInfernal Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 So I recently started playing the first Witcher game (GOG version) and installed a bunch of mods, almost all HD mods. I got through the prologue at Kaer Morhen with no issues, but once I got to the Outskirts and entered the tavern right after the ghost dog fight things have gone wrong. I CTD constantly in there and nothing I can find fixes it. I've tried the 4GB patch, disabled AA, checked for the too-many-save-files crash. One thing I found was checking Event Viewer which told me the error is with the MSVCR80.dll which I found other threads about. I took a suggestion and copied the dll from a folder in WinSxS into the Windows/System32 folder and the games System folder but it still crashes. I'll post the Event Viewer log below, does anyone have a solution to this or should I just try to get through it saving every few moments and hope it stops crashing after the tavern? I take it back. Either something else fixed itself or this did actually help, thanks.
