I'm an idiot and skyrim crashes a lot

long story short: i don't know why but skyrim keeps crashing for me, i'm not an expert at modding so i probably did something wrong or there's some incompatability problem between my mods.

Update: crashes happen on game load or on new game after creating a character. don't know if that helps but i hope it's good to know

Update: crashes happen on game load or on new game after creating a character. don't know if that helps but i hope it's good to know

Most commonly on load CTD indicates a missing master. If you are using a mod manager (any mod manager) it should let you know if you are missing one. If you aren't using one, get one, but in the meantime run LOOT.

Do you mean Skyrim Loads or do you mean you are loading a save game?

As Psalam said, if it's as the Game is loading then it's normally caused by a missing Master but if you are able to start a new game then it sounds more like this is happening on loading up a save.

In which case the most common cause I can think of is too many animations but I would expect this to happen on loading, even a new game, not waiting until you've finished in Racemenu.

turns out i had a compatability issue. dripping when aroused was causing it as far as i can tell. i'll keep it disabled until i find some solution
