pixie2804 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Hi, ever since I downloaded the new September 23rd update (v158g) it has been conflicting with other aspects of my gameplay and mods. For example, I had a Holiday Home mod installed and it won't allow me to buy any holiday homes, but instead the strip club venue has replaced that holiday home venue type in the list. And also for a rental home mod, it allows me to rent the home and go on vacation (if the lot type is set as so) but now it won't allow me to even go inside the home at all once I arrive. Is this something WW is conflicting with? If so, is there a version of the mod that doesn't have strip clubs (since I don't really use it in my gameplay, I don't care for that aspect of the game)? Thanks FAQ Why is the lot set to the “Generic” type? To assure the most compatibility with the game, WickedWhims custom business lots are set to “Generic” on purpose. Everything should work fine. Too many mods trying to use the same lot type or resources. Sorry I don't know much about Strip Clubs as I don't use them either. Strip Clubs should be an Optional module IMO. But it's included now so were stuck with it. Long ago there was talk about a WW Lite version being worked on but it sounds like it was a false rumor now as it's been so long and never happened.

Wonderful Whims is most likely what WW Lite was supposed to be. It has all of Wicked Whims' features minus the nudity and sex.

Maybe I was assuming it would be the other way around with just sex and nudity without all the other features. But most all those other features can be disabled anyway so... Just think that the Strip Clubs should have been an Optional download even though so many ppl wanted it. But I know it would create TURBO more work to keep both updated instead of only one.

The Strip Club feature should definitely be optional. I'm going crazy trying to think of a fix since I use the Holiday Home mod quite a bit.

Well there is some hope after the Snowy Escape EP is released in 3 weeks as I suspect it may have a new venue type added for vacation and/or rental homes. Doubt it will be included with the patch though.
