exxa Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 I have a hat I need to increase the vertical height of (with the creator’s permission to edit the mesh). How do I do this?
Vthena Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 You need to open the mesh in Blender. Edit it to fit your needs. Attribute the corrects weights. Save it and import it to Sims4Studio.

How do I do this? With S4S you can open the package and export the mesh as x-0.blend (Blender 2.70 recommended). Do this also for LOD-1, -2, -3 and save as x-1, -2, -3.blend. With Blender (2.79 recommdnded) you can open x-0.blend. Select the mesh on the right side - there may be more than one. Change 'object mode' to 'edit mode'. Press 'a' to un-sselect or select everything. Press 's' (scale), 'z' (z-axis, or any other axis), '1.5' to scale it (or use the mouse). If needed: Press 'g' (grab) 'z' and use the mouse to adjust the position. Repeat this for other meshes - if any - as well. Save x-0.blend and import it in S4S. Do this for the other LODs as well. (Skip this initially to test in-game early if you play with high details.) Save the package file in S4S and replace the old file.
