Bodyslide bodychanges not visible ingame

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I got the problem that my body changes I make in the bodyslide/Outfit Studio are not visible ingame. They are saved and when I reload bodyslide they are still what I left them.

However I can change my body via racemenu ingame and even some basic armors can be changed to fit to my Body adaptions. But I cant change any armors beyond that..

So somehow my Game and bodyslide are Not talking to each other.

Got any ideas?

TY!

1) Did you run the Batch build in BodySlide or just change the sliders? You have to rebuild all items to adapt to the new slider settings.

2) Are those armors BodySlide compatible? BodySlide does not change any of the vanilla assets except for the naked body. Only custom made armors that are made to work with BodySlide will adapt to the slider settings.

1) Yes, I ran the batch build and selected all armors that where visible. And I changed the sliders and saved my preset (custom preset).

2) I am used, that if an armor ist shown in the batch build list of armors, that it reacts to bodyslide changes. So.. yeah, I am pretty sure, but as something obviously isnt working, I cant give you a 100% on that..

The weird thing, that has never ocurred to me before, is that bodyslide changes are not transferred into the Game.

I changed the breast sliders in bodyslide to the max and ingame I got some A cups.

Yet, I can change that ingame via racemenu.

Could it be that the installation went wrong in a minor part? I reinstalled MO and my mods in General multiple times and had some issues with FNIS due to that.

TY anyway for your help so far.

Do you use a mod changing your pc ?

like vampire, sucubus which has it's own skeleton.

Then only clothing will change.

Not 100% sure, but I dont think so. Maybe some of my bijin mods interfere? I think I got the once which allows me to change their Bodyfeatures as well.

Quick, and perhaps a stupid question, when you say you did a batch build and changed the sliders/saved your custom preset, did you do things in that order? Because it's the other way around. First you adjust the sliders, save your preset and then you batch build everything using your preset.

Other than that the BS usage is really straightforward so if things aren't working as intended I'd check if the BS (and BS related files for all your armors/body mods) are properly installed.

Bijin replacers by default have some unique body meshes/textures (this only affects the nude look of the NPCs Bijin is replacing). You can change that by manually copying your built body meshes to the location used by the Bijin mods. Another way to address this is by using a mod to patch Bijin so it uses your default meshes and textures (there are a couple, easy to find if you look for Bijin in the Nexus). I don't think this to be the cause of your problem, unless your issue is only present in the Bijin NPCs and while naked.

Fair question, as things often happen cause easy things were forgotten. But in that case it's not the Problem :).

Got some Screenshots how it should look like? I suspect that my problem lies there...but I tried a lot already and reinstalled twice..

Screenshots of how it should look properly installed? Hard to do as file names for the different sets and groups change depending on the mods you're using. Also I use MO as mod manager, so my file path for the entire Bodyslide/mod files is different than the file path you would get use when using other mod managers.

But simply put any Bodyslide file has to go in ...\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\. There you have different folders for the groups and sets, etc. If a set appears in the Body/Outfit field in Bodyslide, it means the files are in the right location.

Now you need to verify the bodyslide sets you're building are compatible with your body type (so detailing which outfits and body type you're using helps here), if it happens with every outfit or just a few, if your preset is applied correctly to the NPCs or not, if you have any mod providing unique bodies for the player or some NPCs, as that obviously will interfere with the way Bodyslide works. It's hard to pinpoint the issue without knowing all these details. Making BS work is easy, in a default environment, but a lot of mods or even which mod manager you use (and how) can interfere with that.

Ctrl+batchbuild

redirect to an external directory and create a mod.

So you have better control of builds and even same sets for different bodies is possible.

For here it aids troubleshooting

Guys (and Girls?) I found it. It was ragdolls and force.. removed all mods and installed them again, but I read the description of RaF more throughly and saw that its not useful.

Sorry for keeping you busy and thx for your help!
