Zriley56 Posted October 13, 2020 Posted October 13, 2020 I've recently made the switch to Skyrim SE and while I have found multiple mods for pubic hair for females, including even mods that handle growth and styling, my google searches haven't really turned up anything regarding pubic hair for male characters. My character in this playthrough is female so this is mainly for NPCs. The matter is further complicated (I think) by the fact that I'm using the file below as a texture replacer, so the pubes would have to not only work for default SOS meshes but also the skin that goes over it from the Veteran Skin. I'm also using the HDT enabled override for SOS and I don't know if that's going to screw me too. I don't mind modifying files for use myself if someone can point me to a guide on how to do so and give me some tips on what exactly I AM modifying (actually creating the textures is out of my skillset unfortunately) But ideally there's a set of pubes somewhere hidden in the depths of the web that my google-fu hasn't turned up. Texture replacer wouldn't be an issue, the "pubes" are equipped like a piece of clothing to slot 52 (hence there being a CBBE and UUNP versions, well for LE there is, maybe not SE) for this to work there would need to be a hairy and smooth version of each schlong that would also contain the exta hair for the body as well, or it would look weird. Certainly doable but finding someone to put in the work on any male content is going to be a challenge. I'm assuming that what you are after is random chance for Male NPC's to have smooth or hairy balls and you're using a smooth skin texture but, if you just want your Male bodies smooth just not totally hairless then I would take a look at Tempered Skins as an alternative to your current texture replacer.

I mean if it's simpler I'm totally fine with my male npcs being totally hairy everywhere. If I can find a SoS skin that just gives everyone pubes by default along with body hair that's probably good enough for me for now. I took a look at tempered skins and it looks like there is a hairy preset that adds a lot of chest hair and I'm seeing with the SoS compatible skin there is some pubic hair. I'm hoping I can combine the two for hair all over. That should work, yeah? Is it safe to update my skin mid-save? or should I start fresh.

Anyway, yes you can update skins mid game, just replaces Texture files, there are no plug in or scripts. (edited sum ov my attroshus grandma)
