advice on integrating NSFW mods with an existing modlist?

Hey all,

I'm using the Living Skyrim 2 modpack from Wabbajack, and have been for quite a while. I'm pretty attached to my playthrough, and I don't want to sacrifice it if I don't have to. I know ideally that mods should be added to a new save, and if I need to do that I will, I just don't want to if I don't have to-- I've never been able to get a modlist working without help, so I was hoping to find some here. I know there's a "sexy edition" for LS, but I was really hoping for bad dog's hoodies, devious devices, defeat or a similar mod, solutions, and a prostitution mod of some variety if I could on top of the general stuff. More nasty critters and some other things would be nice and whatever, but the first 5 are my priorities. The "sexy edition" is more on the tame side of things, which is still an improvement, but it's also got some different mods to the regular version and I'd like to keep it as close as possible. Yes, I'm aware this is probably super picky and a lot to hope for, lol

All that being said, here are my questions, if anyone could help how they can: First off, how the heck do I order my modlist? I'm sure LS2 is ordered the best way it can be, so I'm curious to know how I would go about adding new mods to that list-- I guess my concern is that if there are some edits that were made on the side of the pack to what LOOT does by default, that the load order would get jacked up and cause problems.

What the heck other steps do I need to do? Bashed patches and bodyslides and all that are really overwhelming, I've looked at tutorials but they don't make a ton of sense to me, if someone could speak to me like I'm 5 that'd be great lol

Realistically, would I be able to add all those mods and get them to play nice together with LS, and if so, how? Any guidance would be awesome, even just a basic "here's how you add things to a modlist" guide or something.

From my experience, adding mods mid-playthrough is iffy at best. If it were something simple, like throwing in a skimpy armor replacer, you could probably pull it off without any issues. However, messing about with scripted mods is where things get tricky.

LOOT gets it right most of the time. That said, any time I set up an install, I will look at the individual mod pages for author recommendations on load order and note them down so that I can confirm that LOOT is using the right order.

Bashed patches

Wrye Bash and similar tools exist to combine edits, since Skyrim (Fallout too) will only respect the last-loaded plugin to modify a record. This tutorial is a bit old (I think most modders are doing their tagging manually rather than expecting users to use BOSS) but it explains how to make a bashed patch.

bodyslides

Bodyslide is fairly straightforward to use if you're not looking to make anything yourself. This page explains a fair bit about how it works, but as a first-time user you should mainly focus on seeing how different armors/clothes/bodies look with different presets at different weights until you find a preset you like; ignore all the sliders on the main window unless you're going to sink time into customizing your own preset. That page has a "Quick Setup" section that can get you up and running with CBBE, but I still would read the whole thing.

Pulling a modlist from wabbajack is just that, an entire mod list. It shouldn't be that hard to add mods to it.

Loot only gets it mostly right if you are not doing a ton of texture overhauls,

There is a guide called skyrim sse for beginners by aylis. Take a look at that full modlist and see how the sections are partitioned and why. All of the Sloot mods are in the lower half of that list just before any mods that do not need to be overwritten like quinns patches, Dyndolod textures, bodyslide creations, FNIS/Nemesis creations (which you will need to do if you add mods)

I wouldn't suggest adding mods halfway through a playthrough, it can be done, but not recommended. A way to do so is this. open racemenu (` showracemenu `) exit and change the name. save. open the console again (`) and coc qasmoke. save. load mods (the whole purpose is to get your PC into an interior space with very little "clutter") let them register, load the animations install sexlab etc. save it again. then open the console and coc back to where you were or close by. Before you coc out of qasmoke you should make sure all the mods with a mcm menu are active and loaded (sexlab has a auto install but it takes loading from a saved game to initiate. until then it's manual install.) sexlab animation loader (SLAL) are both required for the things you want to add, A couple of animation packs will be needed as well since your list shows things with critters.

A lot of what you can add will depend on one thing. How many mods do you already have? (the right side in MO2 is all that matters for this. (you can only have 254 esp+esm and the 3 add ons (hearthfire, dragonborn, and dawnguard bring it down to 251 esp, esl no matter how many count as 1 for a total of 255 In MO2 top right of the {active plugins} tab is a box that says active : with a number in a box next to it. that will tell you how much "room" you have to add on.
